Heil Charity Golf Event

Heil Charity Golf Event A Huge Success

We were delighted to host the inaugural Heil Charity Golf Event, which was an amazing success and received raving feedback from participants! Spearheaded by members of the Veterans of ESG, this special event was not only an entertaining day on the green but also a significant fundraiser for veteran causes. Through the generous contributions made at the event, we raised $7,337, which will directly support ROTC and STEM programs in local schools.

The day saw over 70 golfers spanning 17 teams, who were joined and assisted by an enthusiastic group of high school ROTC volunteers at various game holes. These included the Marshmallow Long Drive, Golf Corn Hole, and Mini-Golf Target Practice.

Congratulations to the winning team with the lowest score, John Onaga, Walter Watts, Dallas Poe, and Luke Black for their stellar performance on the course!

To cap off a memorable day, more than 20 raffle prizes found their lucky winners, adding an element of surprise to event participants!

The entire ESG team would like to extend our heartfelt appreciation to Chris Lawson and Tim Guinn, the visionaries behind the event. Their idea and unwavering commitment, combined with the dedication of the plant team, turned this event into the success it became. Our gratitude also goes out to the Women of ESG affinity group and the ESG event and marketing teams for their invaluable support and tireless efforts in organizing and promoting this event. In addition, we’d like to give a huge shout-out to our supporters who sponsored holes – their generosity played an essential role in achieving the remarkable donation amount.

ESG wishes to express its profound respect and gratitude to the military veterans within our company and to all who have served and continue to serve. Your sacrifices ensure our freedoms and for that, we are eternally thankful.
