The Fort Payne Heil team perfectly embodied our mission of “Improving Lives”, during the Heil August Blood Drive event held on Thursday, August 17, 2023. Thanks to the AMAZING turnout of our team, we played a critical role in directly improving and literally saving lives.

• 40 donors participated, making this one of our most impactful blood drives to date!
• We collected an amazing 48 units of blood. This number surpasses the total donors, with some individuals being eligible to donate double units.
• Special thanks to our 10 first-time donors, welcome! We sincerely appreciate your participation!

Each unit of blood is more than just a contribution—it’s a special way of demonstrating our mission in action. This drive highlighted not only the physical act of giving blood but also the symbolic act of giving hope, support, and literally helping to save the lives of our friends and neighbors.

A heartfelt thank you to everyone who played a part in this hugely successful event. From the organizers to the donors, every individual showcased the essence of “Improving Lives” in a very real way.
