ESG & Waste Connections Donates $20,000 To Local Children’s Organizations

ESG’s commitment to Improving Lives in our communities is at the heart of everything we do. We’re honored to announce that we’ve recently teamed up with Waste Connections to demonstrate this mission by supporting two amazing children’s organizations.

Together, we’ve made a combined donation of $20,000 to two highly-respected nonprofit organizations right here in Chattanooga: the Children’s Advocacy Center of Hamilton County and Big Brothers Big Sisters of Greater Chattanooga. This collaboration showcases our shared goal with Waste Connections and these organizations: ensuring the children of Hamilton County have access to essential services.

Pat Carroll, our ESG President, said, “Our mission at ESG goes beyond business objectives. It’s about genuinely Improving the Lives of those in the communities we touch. Partnering with Waste Connections has allowed us to further this mission, especially for the children who need our support the most.”

Echoing this commitment, Michelle Little from Waste Connections added, “Waste Connections has always prioritized giving back. Our collaboration with ESG exemplifies this shared vision, aiming for a brighter tomorrow. Together, we truly can make a difference.”

We’re also humbled by the gracious acknowledgment from the supported organizations. Kristen Pavlik McCallie, from the Children’s Advocacy Center, highlighted the impact of our contribution, stating, “This donation will be instrumental in helping Hamilton County children who have experienced abuse find hope, help, and healing.”

Jessica Whatley, CEO of BBBS of Greater Chattanooga, was equally appreciative, noting, “This generous act not only bolsters our capacity to reach more young people but also promises a potentially impactful partnership for the future.”

This recent effort is more than just a donation. It’s a testament to our collective dedication to making real, lasting change for the most vulnerable children in our region. By joining forces with Waste Connections and supporting these nonprofits, we are reaffirming our commitment to not only improve our business but also to uplift and champion the vulnerable youth in our community and beyond.

Thank you for being a part of this journey with us. Together, as one ESG family, we’re creating real and positive change across Chattanooga and the nation.
