Colorado Teen Granted Make-A-Wish With Heil Garbage Truck
In a heartwarming story out of Colorado, a terminally ill teenager was granted her lifelong wish to drive a garbage truck, thanks to the combined efforts of Make-A-Wish and Waste Connections of Colorado.
The young girl, who has always harbored a deep love for garbage trucks, was ecstatic when her dream came true as she took the wheel of a Heil rearload garbage truck on Econic chassis. The event, which took place in a controlled environment, saw the teenager skillfully maneuver the truck, much to the delight of her family, friends, and the community members who had gathered to cheer her on.
The collaboration between Make-A-Wish and Waste Connections of Colorado helped create an unforgettable experience for the brave young girl, demonstrating the power of kindness and the human spirit – all part of ESG’s mission of Improving Lives!
